trash to treasure

I collect jewelry, and to me it is an art form. I was getting frustrated that my jewelry box was looking a hot mess, and I wanted to display my beautiful collection of Earrings.

So my mom found me a $10 frame from an antique shop that happened to match my room perfectly, I went to Home Depot bought $5 screen, flirted with the guy who was helping me and got him to staple gunned everything! (it never hurts to look out of place in a hardware store, and trust me I don't have to try) And this is my finished product!!

What a simple, cheap idea for art on my wall, and convenient! Thank you Hallelu for the great idea!

pop of pink

A little pop of a bright color is always a good thing, and can change a room for the better every time. Design*Sponge showed this adorable bathroom today, all white with a pop of HOT pink. I am obsessed!! Love the prints of the flat iron and toothbrush and the pink stones to hot the actual toothbrushes is cute and convenient, great ideas!

A little late, I know, but happy belated St. Patty's day, I found an Irish themed wedding on Snippet & Ink so I had to past something! As a girl from Dublin, Ohio I was definitely missing home this past Thursday, green beer and all!

I Love the clovers in the beer and the clover cuff links, what a perfect touch! So elegant but fun at the same time.

Hallelu loves ME!!

My favorite shop on Wrightsville beach, Hallelu held a contest to post a picture wearing a Hallelu outfit on facebook. I of course had to enter but I have so many outfits I couldn't choose one. My outfits are worn on a caribbean cruise, puerto rico, rome, Italy and carolina beach. And because I took Hallelu around the world with me, I WON!! I am sooo thrilled, check out there post at Pretty Pleased and take a few minutes, (or hours) to shop on line :)

bridesmaid bliss

So I have been MIA for a while, I know, but I am just getting back to my self, tuning in with me and the person I used to love to be. I am mending a broken heart and it feels good to become my self again!

In the past bridesmaids have worn some pretty bad dresses just to make sure the bride looks 10x better, but in my opinion if the bridesmaids don't look good, neither does the bride.

so thank goodness, the bridesmaids dresses are getting better, more beautiful, and hopefully useful in the future. I found a few fun examples on Snippet & Ink of gorgeous dresses that make the bride look even better!
